Linked Data enables information and knowledge to be shared and exposed effectively, linking data and documents on the Web. The Land Portal Technical Advisory Group has decided to publish the Land Portal data as Linked Data to be part of this evolving information space. In this thesis we research what steps need to be taken to publish the Land Portal data as Linked Data, enrich the data and provide with a technological solution. In a structured manner we were able to give answer to these questions, using the approach as described in the Linked Data Cookbook.
A research management system CRIS UNS has been developed for the needs of the University of Novi Sad. The digital library of theses and dissertations has been developed as a part of the system CRIS UNS. This paper proposes an ontology for semantic description of metadata about theses and dissertations based on FOAF and Dublin Core Terms ontologies. The proposed ontology extends mentioned ontologies with elements which exist in the system CRIS UNS and are not supported by those ontologies.

In this paper, we investigate how the Semantic Web can enhance web navigation and accessibility by following a hybrid approach of document-oriented and data-oriented considerations. Precisely, we propose a methodology for specifying, extracting, and presenting semantic data embedded in XHTML documents with RDFa in order to enable and improve ubiquitous web navigation and accessibility for end-users.
